Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

There's three noteable things here: 1. Ethically-raised meats and fresh produce assembled to your order right in front of your eyes. What's not to love? This is how fast food should be. 2. Everyone I've ever seen work here seems to be genuinely happy and friendly. 3. It gets a little cold in here in the winter, so wear your coat. My wife sometimes refuses to go here because of the temperature in the winter.

I LOVE chipotle and this expience is adding to the greatness!! I came here with my nephew on Valentine's Day.....HAHA what can I say it's what we wanted!!! It was pretty crowded...I was shocked. We waited in line and I made my nephew's bowl first and then went back to the front and made my bowl....while I was making my bowl my nephew took it upon himself to go behind the counter and give the worker a hug and a kiss on the hand...HAHA....she was the NICEST girl to him and let him take a basket for his bowl and kiss her hand ..more then once. When I went to pay for the food she said he was so cute and such a good kid that she was going to give me his bowl for free.....I thought that was so sweet of her!!! She then came to check on us during our meal and asked if we needed anything else. This chipotle went above and beyond expectations for us and I will be going back for sure!!!

I haven't visited a Chipotle in years. After lunch there today, I now remember why. I will keep my review short and sweet because this place really isn't worth much more of my time. A. The food doesn't even come close to authentic Mexican food. B. $10 for a burrito and some chips and salsa (no drink) at a fast food joint. Really? I mean REALLY?? The flavors are OK, but the fleecing I got left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I love Chipotle just not this one. The rice is under cooked and a couple of months ago I had a horrible experience. They were making my food and put the scraps from the counter into my burrito bowl.

First visit there and boy was it a waste of money!!! Ordered the SteakTacos, they put 5 little pieces of steak on each taco. Asked for rice on the side but didn't get it. When I got home and started eating... oMG. The steak was rubber and chewy. So gross couldn't eat it. Plus it was over $8.00 for a crappy meal of 3 tacos. Not even a descent lunch. Will never go there again.

This is by far the best chipotle location in the immediate area! I work down the street and make frequent stops during my break time. The only complaint I would have would be the wait line, during lunch hours the line is sometimes out the door! But I'm happy to see them booming since they totally deserve it. the team is always working hard to get your food ready in a timely manner (without skimping on ingredients or messing up your order). You can also call ahead or order online and just pick it up but sometimes I don't know what I want until I see it, haha. The lady who is mostly always at the cash register is also very friendly and efficient, I assume she is the manager. I've been extremely unhappy with other locations like the one in Algonquin on Randall road and will forever expect the West Dundee standard...great job! I hope upper management reads these reviews: this place in ran right!

I like the choices that have been beefed up (pardon the pun) for vegetarians.. This place is solid in service and food quality

I love chipotle but this one doesn't seem to be run well at all. I just stood waiting to be served for over 10 minutes. I was the first in line. There were 4 employees and they all avoided eye contact and seemed to be goofing around.

Every time I have been in here everyone is super friendly or happy.! I've never had any other complaints other then it does tend to get a little cold, although I think it's just most Chipotle Grills in general. They're usually always busy and very quick and efficient!

I love Chipotle, but was soooo disappointed today. Got the steak burrito bowl and the steak was way overcooked, chewy and fatty. Each piece me and my daughter tried in our bowls was inedible. YUCK... won't get the steak ever again and really hate I paid money for that.

I've been to this Chipotle before and every time I go, the staff is always nice and helpful. I love Chipotle's burritos and burrito bowls but this time I wanted something different and out of the ordinary, so I ordered "The Quesarito" from Chipotle's "secret" menu. They charged me for a burrito AND quesadilla (because if you don't know what "The Quesarito" is, its a quesadilla wrapped around a burrito.... you're welcome) which ended up being $12! The Quesarito was delicious, but not enough to be ordering that again. I will stick to my burrito bowls!

This place needs shut down! I was served raw chicken. Management did nothing wouldn't even get on the phone to resolve this issue. I will be contacting the health department as well as corporate.

The worst service ever.. I'm m not even sure why I keep coming here... Unfortunately it's close to home.. I guess I'm hoping someone from corporate finally reads these reviews and makes a correction... I've never come here and been able to et everything I wanted without waiting.. Either no onions and peppers or no chicken or no pico.. Always something not rite!! And the portions are always 70% of what you get anywhere else... And always a bunch of kids running the place never seen an actual mature person behind the counter

A solid Chipotle location. It's not far from my school, so I'm here every few weeks to pick up dinner. I always order the same thing: carnitas burrito bowl, easy rice, extra black beans, sour cream, corn salsa, pico de gallo, a side of chips and guac, and an empty to-go cup so I can take some chipotle tabasco with me. They're always accommodating and they don't skimp. I'll never complain about having too much food! I've had one or two bags of broken chips, but that's probably a result of the time of day when I usually come in. The plus side of coming in at a slow time is that I never have to wait! Two thumbs up for chipotle!

My family's first visit to Chipotle. I was pleasantly surprised. Very tasty, and both my kids ate VERY well and with no complaints (because they honestly whine anytime I suggest Mexican food to eat). My son devoured his burrito and my daughter enjoyed building her own tacos.

Everytime I go here, there seems to be something that goes wrong. 1) Have to cook chicken, 10 min. extra wait. 2) Just about every time I get a burrito, it is overfilled and breaks open when they are making it. 3) ran my credit card incorrectly. 3) Short staffed and not working as a team. The Chipotle on Algonquin Road gets in right every time and great service also. This is the last time, won't come back to this one again.

This location is HORRIBLE. Just do yourself a favor & go to another location. The employees here are usually dirtbags who don't know the slightest thing about service. Algonquin one is pretty decent. On Randall. If you need Mexican that bad, Taco Bell a little ways down. Better service half the price.
